Marcella is a Certified Lactation Consultant, Birth and Postpartum Doula, Owner at Born With Love Doulas and Director of Active Birth Institute.

Marcella started her journey in 2013, after the births of her first two children, she was inspired to let her passion for birth and supporting new parents lead her path in life and work. Born With Love Birth was born and Marcella soon became a busy birth doula in the Philadelphia area. 

In 2018 after years of birth doula work and 4 children, Marcella decided to start focusing more on postpartum care, providing day and overnight support to new parents, while simultaneously working on becoming a Lactation Consultant.

In 2021 when she became an IBCLC and steadily became more busy helping clients toward their lactation goals, the now Born With Love Doulas became a team of birth and postpartum doulas Marcella has brought on to serve clients in New Jersey and PA. Along the way she was offered to take over  Active Birth Institute and now facilitates workshops to train and certify new doulas!
