Childbirth Educator

Meet Kia. She is a loving and dedicated birth worker and mama of (almost) three. Her nurturing nature led her into childcare back in 2014. What started out as a college nanny gig, eventually brought her to her purpose of caring for not just babies and children, but also postpartum care for mothers.

After experiencing a miscarriage in 2019, Kia turned her trial to triumph by diving deep into birth work and postpartum care. Since, she has attended multiple births, became a birth instructor at Lifecycle Birth Center, built a collective along side her sister Kellie @themuse.wellness, served several families and had two beautiful daughters.

Her mission is to educate, advocate and provide resources for mamas, especially those who have experienced birth trauma & underserved black and brown women. Her dream is to write books on the importance of bringing God on the journey to motherhood and reach as many mothers as possible by hosting empowering retreats and classes.
